2nd Amendment Related Poll...Vote Away

Re: 2nd Amendment Related Poll...Vote Away
100% miss the point.
If you are carrying legally, case closed. If omamma doesen't like guns around him then he can stay out of states that allow open carry (freedom). |
Re: 2nd Amendment Related Poll...Vote Away
The question in the poll itself belies the problem with this type of topic:
Should people be allowed to bring guns to an Obama event? Now the average non-GIMer :) feels like it's a stupid idea to bring a gun to something like this so they're going to vote no. I wonder if any of them ever even think about the fact that the question is in effect asking whether people should receive punishment for doing that. There is a difference between thinking people shouldn't do something and thinking it should be punishable for people to do something. |

69% NO as I read it...
I'd be interested in hearing the "NO" voters' reasoning, although I doubt I would be surprised... ...or impressed. |
Re: 2nd Amendment Related Poll...Vote Away
What a silly question. To ask such a question reveals that the questioner has no concept of individual rights. He must think that the only rights he has are ones that the government permits him.

I loved how people claimed it was racism. I thought Alex Jones was joking when he said people fight all arguments now with the claim of racism. You parked in that space I had my eye on, you're a racist. Man, he was right. It's retarded.
oops... I'm a racist. I also noticed how not one person considered that a person there who was carrying a firearm might be there to protect not only themselve but other people including the politicians or heaven forbid even the president. I know its a long bow but it goes both ways IMO. |
Re: 2nd Amendment Related Poll...Vote Away
Should they be "allowed"? Yes - the Second Amendment guarantees the right.
Is it prudent to bring open-carry guns to an event where the Secret Service are in charge? NO - it's just asking for trouble. And it gives the enemy plenty of propaganda "ammo" against us. |
